Journeyman
A Journal for the Inquiring Christian

Introducing …

A new, online magazine for catholic-minded Christians

It's Free: I've met lots of bright folk on the web, and some of them can write. I'm hoping to lure some of them into writing for this magazine. I want to create an e-zine with interesting, thoughtful articles on contemporary issues. I hope to include book and movie reviews, updates on religious news, and reviews of goings on here and there.

Think of it as the poor man's version of Touchstone, or First Things, and you'll get the idea.

What's it All About?

Well, that's more than I know. But I can tell you what Journeyman is about.

First of all, the title. A journeyman is a competent (but not expert) craftsman or artist. I am no scholar, and I expect to pull most of my articles from the non-scholarly (but adept) ranks of serious-minded Christians. Of course "journey"man might also imply ... well, a journey, and that's what we're about -- exploring, inquiring, learning, growing and reaching for our heavenly home.

Finally, Journeyman is especially for Christians who hold to a generally Catholic understanding of the church, by which I mean Christians who want to learn from the past, and who believe that Holy Spirit spoke to our fathers as well as to us.
