Journeyman
A Journal for the Inquiring Christian

Submissions

This is a free ezine, so I can't pay for articles. Sorry.

I'm looking for …
  1. articles on current events or theological issues
  2. book and movie reviews
  3. fun stuff
  4. satire
  5. Christian perspectives on culture
For the feature sections I'm looking for short reviews of cool (recent) stuff on the web (like an article in another journal), examples of muddy thinking, and religious news. And if you have other ideas, go ahead and send or suggest them.

I'm not looking for poetry. Call me a Philistine if you like, but I generally don't get the point, so nevermind.

If you think of Journeyman as a poor rip-off on First Things -- with maybe a little more humor and satire -- you'll be on the right track.

Starting in December of 2001 I will impose a broadly Catholic standard on all feature articles. By "broadly Catholic" I mean, roughly speaking, Christian traditions that are sacramental, liturgical and episcopal. Non-Catholics are encouraged to submit feature articles on points they hold in common with Catholics. Non-Catholics are also encouraged to express their views in Letters to the Editor.

I request all contributors to agree to Journeyman's statement of faith, which is the Nicene Creed. (Don't sweat the filioque.) And I'd like to have a 60 by 60 pixel gif to post for feature articles.
